Ascent of Mount Chapman on 2009-03-07| Date: | Saturday, March 7, 2009 | | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | | Peak: | Mount Chapman | | Location: | USA-North Carolina/Tennessee | | Elevation: | 6417 ft / 1955 m |
Ascent Trip ReportThis bushwhack isn't too bad. It's steep and a bit overgrown in places, but there is an obvious (and tagged) manway to the summit starting on the northeast ridge. There are orange ribbons tied along the way to help find the trail but it's pretty easy to see the trail without the ribbons.
