Ascent Trip Report

with Spuce and Scott.

Took Rocky to HOL, broke out the bushwhack on the 3200' contour, took Ioslation trail up for maybe 1/4 mile then bushwhacked westward-ish-ly to the Davis Path. Zig-zagged at the top to take route of least resistance and topped out of a knoll north of Isolation. The view from this knoll was amazing, as was Isolation. Took the same route back out, but instead started the 'whack a tenth north of where we came in and this made a ton of difference (avoided spruce traps). All in all, the bushwhacks were flat or gradual uphill thru open woods.
