Ascent Trip Report

Coming from Carmel and Carmel Valley Rd, I took the back-country Cachagua Rd for 10 miles to Tassajara Rd, following it to Jamesburg, where the paved road ends and from where the generally good, wide dirt road (some ruts and potholes) continues for 6.0 miles to the gated spur road that accesses unstaffed Chews Ridge L.O., about 1/4 mile from Tassajara Rd.
