Ascent Trip Report

To a select group of people back in the day in Jackson, this little hill was known as Mount Pamida, because it towers steeply above the spot where the Pamida Store used to be. Pamida has, of course, ceased to exist in Jackson (and probably everywhere else as well). It just couldn't compete with the likes of Wal Mart. Who would want to? Anyway, I don't know what occupies that space now, but I guarantee, you'll be soaring high above it from the summit of East Gros Ventre Butte.

Actually, it may not even be possible now. I think there's some kind of impossibly posh and pathetic spa thing up there now. I'm sure they'll have a bunch of goons posted in the bushes just waiting to hassle any harmless scumbag that comes along just lookin' for some nice vistas...
