Ascent Trip Report

Via Sheepbone Canyon.
Just a rubble heap made interesting by scrambles of Sheepbone and Seven Falls Canyons. Sheepbone has 4 significant dryfalls. 1st and 4th are Class 5 (and fun!) but the present fixed lines can be used if necessary. 2nd is Class 4 (fixed line avail) 3rd is Class 3. Then on to River Mountain. Descending toward Seven Falls I passed the gorgeous cholla forest. Seven Falls is all fun downclimable (up to Class 4) or easy bypasses of all. Final one, where Many Falls canyon comes in downcanyon right, requires bypass of the top 1/2 of the dryfall.
