Ascent Trip ReportMy first 4000m peak. I was not brilliantly equipped for this and didn't have an axe. However the weather was excellent although the avalanche risk was quite high (indeed I saw an avalanche trigger in the distance, from the summit). Stayed the previous night in the Cosmiques hut.
