Ascent Trip Report

with the random group. camped at underhill state park. drove seven hours from baxter state park - arrived at 3:30 am. legs felt much better than i expected considering the drive and limited sleep. a relatively easy climb. the peak was mobbed with wanna-bes, either from the gondola or from the auto road. great views from the exposed peaks and ridge between the chin and the nose.
