Ascent Trip Report

I started from La Sal Pass and followed the Burlfriends Trail towards the south couloir. The junction at about 0.5 mile is now signed and the left fork is labeled as Tuk Trail ending at the ridge line in 1.5 miles. So I decided to try it, but soon discovered it led too far west so I traversed up and east to intersect the 4wd road. Followed the well marked trail into and up the couloir until I lost the foot path. Traversed out of the couloir higher and regained the trail which I followed to the summit. Returned the same way but followed the 4wd road down past where it is now blocked until it intersected the Burlfriends Trail and followed that trail back to the pass.
