Ascent Trip Reporttook the now-open illegally cut path from the col, which starts on a Jay Peak slope. this 'herd path' was by far the easiest hiking of the day, busy with skiers and well-packed. we only needed to turn away from the ski tracks for a few hundred feet (though i may not have found the turn-off solo) to reach the jar at the summit. marc signed us in, and we took the same route back. (back to col, down ski slopes, to where we had popped out from the LT)
