Ascent Trip Report

Hiked up from Port Chalmers Forest Service Cabin up and over Peak 1875 along the ridge down to the 1000' pass and up to the prominent glacier on the north west side of Peak 2950, traversed just below and a little bit over the glacier to the nonglaciated north spur and scrambled up that to the skyline ridge and over to the summit. Peak 2950 appears to be higher than Peak 2923 to the east. My GPS read 2959' on the summit. Amazing views north into Prince William Sound and south out into the Gulf of Alaska. A beautiful sunny day!
