Stats: 165mH, 1.4 + 1.4km
Time: approx 0:40 round trip
Start: from NE, car park. Elev c.1320m
Route: choice of jeep track or narrower path, both signposted.
Difficulties: none.
Trig point: standard cylindrical pillar, surrounded by upright rock slabs, no plinth visible. Top face of pillar has three instrument locating metal grooves, and small unlettered rivet.
Notes: Island highpoint of La Gomera. Warm and sunny, hazy view. Middle of large area of Laurel forest, but no Laurel Pigeons found all day.
Climbed during a 1 week package holiday from the UK, during which we also visited the HPs of Tenerife, El Hierro and La Palma.
