Ascent Trip Report

Push hard up Edmands path - from past experience I know the best time to get speed is on the ascent. One hour from TH to the Crawford junctions. Slower people gladly will stop to let you pass on the way up. Along a ridge or on descent, most hikers in front of you are stubborn and don't want to stop and let you pass them. They think they are going as fast as anybody possibly could be capable of. Also, downhill sections are a great place to roll ankle so being forced to slow down isn't always a bad thing.
