Ascent Trip Report

This was my first major glaciated peak climb. Went up with my brother David and friends Rob, John, and Scott. Interesting trivia: We all had a great time and pledged to get together one year later on the weekend for a climb of Mt. St. Helens. That would have got us up there on early Sunday morning, May 18th. 1980!! Of course, that would have turned out badly, to say the least. I'm not exactly happy about the authorities closing trails and areas but this was a good idea, as we all found out.
