Ascent Trip ReportWow what a gorgeous hike! First hike up panther/giant ledge in the winter. Views were breathtaking. Took giant ledge/panther trail up from slide rd trailhead. Very small patches of ice here and there, well packed snow trail, didn't need crampons or SS. Didn't see a soul the entire ascent up GL and over to Panther and back, until decending GL, saw a few hikers coming up. Heard a group over the GL overlooks, not sure if there was a trail directly below the ledges, or some ice climbers? Not sure. Not blood-pumping but this is a must hike!
