Ascent Trip Report

The road up Toro Peak is good for a dirt road. While I was in a high-clearance vehicle, I think a passenger car could make it to Toro Camp (near peak 7878'). After the road hits it's relative low point, it has a short steep section. Beyond that, the last half mile or so is very steep and could likely be an issue for vehicles without 4-wheel drive.

There are a couple of gates on the road within the last half-mile or so. If locked, it would be a short but steep hike to the summit from there.
