Ascent Trip Report

I used the Peekamoose-Table Trail from CR 42, and found it well packed until 2200', after which there were huge drifts across the trail for the remainder of the hike. The wind was strong enough to cover all of my tracks, so I had to break trail in both directions. Snowshoes were a necessity.

I had planned to continue on to Table, but a Calpine start and the trail breaking rendered that unwise.

The temp hovered around 10 with winds averaging 30-40 for the entire hike.

Ascent was a pathetic 3 hours flat, and the decent was right at 90 minutes. I'm slightly embarassed by those numbers, obviously.
