Ascent Trip ReportA hike for a rainy day. Not literally rainy, but one for a day without big objectives. A day for collecting mushrooms, seeing a fantastic lake and pulling on shrubs on really steep dirt. Take Dinford Creek as far as Goat Creek and head up hill. There is a faint boot track on the far right of the multiple braids of the stream. The trail goes directly to Horseshoe Lake. Finding your way to the summit from there isn't what I would call clean hiking. My day was rainy and I got no view.
