Ascent Trip Report

I started from Hwy 50 Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT). Trail was easy to follow until I reached higher elevations. Patches of snow made it at times difficult to know where the trail went. I made it to the top. Very windy, 40-50 mph was predicted. On the way back I went too far to the left and ended up bush whacking down clear creek valley. After a considerable amount of roaming finally got back to the trail. Maybe the soothsayer was right, "Beware of the ides of March."
