Ascent Trip Report

Absolutely fantastic trip!! Rather than take the boring trail to the top, we came in via East Pond Tr, cut up the Pine Brook then ended up climbing a massive landslide to within about a tenth of the ridge and main trail. The scope of this landslide basically defied belief and the level of devestation was awe-inspiring. Truly wild, epic, and life-changing. I will be returning here when there is no ice or snow (there was today and the route was a little hairy a few times).
