Ascent Trip Report

Climbed on a family outing to Fribourg. We took the cable car up and walked around the mountain on it's north side, stopping for a picnic at a spot out of a surprisingly cold wind. The final pull up to the top was a challenge for my 3 year old daughter Zoe but she was very proud of herself when she finally made it without being carried. There was a little cafe in an old farmhouse at the bottom which served us a welcome hot chocolate before we took the cable car back down. For cable car times and prices see http://www.laberra.ch/de/startseite.html (German or French language only).
