Ascent Trip Report

After our completion of Mt. Rainier, we headed out to Mt. Baker for the cherry on top. An unfortunate call to my wife resulted in huge worry - she was 5 months pregnant and bleeding. I still proceed but my heart and head were not into the climb.

Having hit Mt. Rainier gave us confidence and conditioning - we breezed up to the rock field and set camp. The next day we made great headway up past the black buttes, but the late time and water running underneath led me to turn back. Sucked. I have to return some day and get that monkey off my back!
