Ascent Trip Report

I figured that this would be a good opportunity to work on my ice climbing skill and climb a peak I want at the same time. 3 day trip with Matt Hartman from Northwest Mountain School. We took the North Ridge, Grade III, Alpine Ice 3. The climb consisted of quite a bit of simul-climbing, followed by 5 pitches of ice climbing, followed by more simul-climbing until we were on softer snow near the summit. 11 hours camp-to-camp. We spent the third day ice climbing near camp.

GPS is camp-to-camp only, not the approach hike. Pictures
