Ascent Trip Report

Me, Paul, Ed: This WAS An AWESOME 17 mile Great Range (upper range) day/night hike in The raw Adirondack Mountains. Over 7,600 feet of vertical elevation. Beautiful views, challenging rock scrambling, climbing (open face) challenges, awesome, varied terrains. Rockin!! We had included this in our 4 day weekend, camping, A full day Of White-Water rafting on Saturday. Rested Sunday, did our big hike Monday! Did about 4-5 miles at night hiking with headlamps/flashlights. -I'd do it again!
