Ascent Trip Report

This was our track for the last peak of my Adirondack 46. We did Wright, Algonquin and then Iroquois which was my 46th peak.

Just a few notes:
1) The GPS track is messed up in the beginning because the GPS wigged out so I just started it over.
2) We bushwhacked down to Shepherd's Tooth (there is somewhat of a trail) and then bushwhacked the rest of the way down to Cold Brook Pass.
3) From the Tooth we went left. Missed the typical way down including the chute and ended up to the east of those cliffs. The way down was not easy but doable. My advise is go to the right (nw) and look for the chute. There was what looked like a trail that headed off to the left (southeast) but it didn't pan out for us. We dropped down off an 8 to 10 foot ledge and then we were committed.
4) It's probably easier to go back over Algonquin but maybe not as adventurous!
