Ascent Trip Report

I followed the trip report of Chuck Bickes on the COHP.org website. The parking spot he chose is the beginning of the GPX track. There were no landowners within sight, nor did I look for one. The gate is where he says it is. The slides on the mountain are somewhat identifiable, however it really comes down to you using your head and ability to pick your way up through the brush. I found it not bad at all and I was wearing shorts. You basically pick your way from open spot to open spot. I highly recommend going to Mount Zion's Kobol Canyon and viewing what you just climbed from the end of the road.
