Ascent Trip Report

Hike the Bonds & Zealand w/ Brian ....We waited for a nice w/e to do these & This w/e was the one.....Brian had caught up to me in peaks so we were even stevens to begin.....We started our hike in cool temps ....At the start of our hike we met Donald Frenette ....Stopped at the hut & continued ...We met up w/ Joe & Marissa coming down after their completion on the Bonds.Hit Zealand on way up for #44 ....We both love the sign.....then continued to Guyot shelter......Stopped at the shelter to re-energize & rest & to drop some weight off our back :-) ....Then we hiked over to Bond #46 then over to Bondcliff #47 ....The most amazing views I've seen....now we retraced our steps to catch a sunset on West Bond #47 .......Quite a few people on top but not much of a sunset .
Back at the shelter we had supper & tried to sleep ...Our neighbor on our platform was a real loud snorer :-( ....Well we both got a little sleep ...when we woke we had breakfast & headed back to Zealand Rd
What a great hike with a good friend ...We had a blast & can't wait to do it again
