Ascent Trip Report

We approached from the south using the Buzzard Lake Road. From there a decent road- passable to a passenger car- continues just as shown on the map going just below the ridge on the E side of the peak. From whatever parking spot you choose, a quick off-trail jaunt will get you to the summit. A large boulder with a BM is found at the 4957 spot. However, there are also two more rises on the ridge to the SE. We felt there was a decent chance that the second of these rises is higher than either the boulder or the first rise. The tiny 4920+ contour to the S is not a contender. There are cabins and such along the way but no signage relating to the road or peak or any other sort of access problem.

If the summit of this peak were say 4+ feet higher than 4957 then it has a very small outside shot at being a P2000.
