Ascent Trip ReportTough day. Hiked north on the PCT from Hwy 138 to near South Thielsen. Hiked up and tagged South Thielsen and then down the east ridge until I found a spot where I could get off the ridge and into the bowl on the east side of Mt Thielsen. From there it wasn't hard to find a route up to East Thielsen. Saw a nice bald eagle today.
