Ascent Trip ReportThis peak was with the AMC Spring Hiking & Backpacking program. We spent Friday night at Osceola Vista Campground near Waterville Valley and headed out first thing Saturday Morning following the Livermore Trail until a few 10th's of a mile past the Old Skidder Trail. We set up a stealth campsite into the woods east of the Livermore Trail and then headed back to the head of the Scaur Ridge Trail. We hiked up Scaur Ridge, which was a reasonably steep and steady include, a bit grown over in places until we hit the Pine Bend Brook Trail. From there it was a relatively short, but very steep ascent to North Tripyramid and a quick trip from there to Middle Tripyramid. We backtracked from there to avoid the slides. It rained the night before, so the trail was a bit muddy in places, but not bad overall.
We spent Saturday night in the woods, great food, great company!
