Ascent Trip ReportNice hike to Mount Willey. It was raining earlier in the morning, but stopped when I began the hike. The 1.3miles is on the Appalachian Trail. The Ethan Pond Trail will diverge left at 1.3 miles and the trail turns into the Willey Ridge Trail. Don't let the last mile fool you, it's rough at times with poor footing in some areas. You'll cross numerous small brooks (easy). Pretty cool to climb up the stairs and ladders they put up. Overall a very good hike on a cool, sunny afternoon in Crawford Notch.
