Ascent Trip Report

From North Kinsman, the Kinsman Ridge Trail made a steep descent over rocks and ledges to the flat col between the two peaks, then it went steadily uphill to the north knob of South Kinsman's summit. Wanting to make sure I made the top, I continued to the lower south knob, then I headed back to the main knob, feeling satisfied. It was still socked-in, and there were no views except for two very small sliver views of the Franconia Ridge. I took a snack break here and then went to North Kinsman for a longer snack break, where I chatted with several other hikers, then I headed down the Mt. Kinsman Trail to the beginning of the Bald Peak spur path.
