Ascent Trip ReportConsiderable historic mining activity on west face. Mining roads allow 4x4 access to 7900' or more to park. We parked at 7884' in front of an adit with ore car tracks leading in, and two small buildings and more track nearby. From there, we walked up the road and some climber trails ultimately gaining the SW Ridge to the top. From the summit, spectacular views north to the North Jackson Mountains Wilderness. To the south, views of King Lear, the high point of the South Jackson Mountains Wilderness.
