Ascent Trip Report

Hiked up Mansfield today w/friends Brian Platt , Randy Bullis & Mike Berger.....I've been here a few times & finally got to hike it .We started around 8:45am with cloudy skies....About 1/2 way up it started to rain....By the time we got our raincoats on it had slowed down...We stopped at the Taft Lodge & kept going....Boy does the trail get steep here....Climbed up the crack & got to the summit not looking forward to our hike down....We did it & went over to the Adam's Apple when the skies cleared & we got some awesome views.....We stopped at the Lodge again had a bite to eat & kept going down....After spraining my ankle a couple weeks ago it was nice to get this hike in with no mishaps
