Ascent Trip Report

This the highest point of the reserve on the north side of the highway. You access this highpoint via the TH on Mira Montana Drive. Or you can do as we did and use the blue rope off of Carousel Drive. The rope is between two houses and has a State Park Boundary sign near it. We pulled ourselves up and then took a use trail to the summit block with some scramble up the cliffs for the last ten feet.
Torrey Pines also has a named state beach thus we can use the highpoint near the beach as that entity's highpoint. The two pieces of land are geographically separate , so this might make sense and thus what I have done in my quest to ascend the highest point of all state parks in California. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
