Ascent Trip ReportA trip worth noting because it was the first one where Brock turned back on his own volition – due to disconcerting exposure on the north side of the mountain about 300 ft (elevation) from the top. We camped at Gunsight Lake on Friday, and made our way up the Jackson Glacier trail to the first open meadow that appeared to lead up to the ridge. Once on the ridge it was fairly straight-forward till we went perhaps too far along the north face. Tim turned back before attaining the ridge. Bob, Leif, and Eric attained the summit.
