Ascent Trip ReportExcellent hike. The Timpooneke Trail is a much easier ascent than Aspen Grove. It is less than a mile longer, 400+ feet less elevation gain, and a gradual ascent the length of the trail. Descending to Aspen Grove, however, is enjoyable and worth the effort of bringing a second car.
Timpanogos is a superlative mountain peak. The trail is well maintained and the views are striking. The hike is well worth the effort, even though you may likely share the trail with 300+ people on a busy Saturday in late July-early August.
