Ascent Trip Report

Final ascent of a day bagging tops round the German, Czech border. I was driving to Berlin for a course the next day and stopped off the motorway north of Dresden. It seems to be possible to drive to this highpoint from Gröden, the next village along, but the walk through the (predominantly pine) woods was pleasant in the early evening. The viewing tower built in 2009 is 30m high and allows nice views above the treetops across the gentle countryside.

The GPS track should be used with caution, I used exactly the same route up as down but there is more deviation in the file than usual..
