Ascent Trip Report

We went up the wrong side of the basin containing Cottonwood lake #4 en route to old Army pass (though, as we saw upon our return, we weren't the only ones). We wasted an hour or so traversing the boulders and scree on our way up to the pass. My partner began experiencing severe altitude sickness near the final steep section going up Langley, around 12,500ft, and we were forced to turn back.
