Ascent Trip Report

Parked at the picnic site on the A4069 just past Rhyd-y-saint, used forest tracks to reach Banc Pen-Arthur. From there a right of way took us to within 250m of the top. Good views could be had except to the Mynydd Du which was in cloud. Carried on the right of way to loop back to Carn Goch a very large hill fort with huge cairns. Then by road and footpath to the car.
