Ascent Trip Report

It is amazing how a quick curry in ASDA can make an exhausted body alive again. So the car was parked at Hutton Roof. Dropped via roads to Sealford Beck for the necessary height. Then back up the road onto the Limestone Link. This was followed until we were due north of the top. What the followed in extremely good weather was a lesson in how not to get from A to B. For although at any one time we new where we were and where the top was we could not find a route. Due to the dense wood and limestone formations. After an 45 mins of faffing the top was found and to our surprise a trig was there to greet us. For a few minutes we tried to work out where we were before concluding the trig was not marked on the map. This turned out to our relief to be correct. The route back was made using the boundaries of Park Wood a lot quicker. The end of a day and 5742ft of climbing.
