Ascent Trip ReportThere is a large car park in the forest called Schulwaldplatz, which is used mainly by visitors to the ruin of Chateau Bernstein. To locate this, take a look at my trip report for L'Ungersberg (far southern end of the GPS track is the car park). From there, a short distance south took me to some kind of shrine / chapel. Heading left of the chapel, then taking the first right and following this in a curve took me to the foot of the final slopes. From there I just bashed straight upwards, although there was a lot of awkward brush underfoot. The little rocky (but forested) summit was quickly reached, no views. Return by the same route (was in a hurry to pick up my family at the airport later).
