Ascent Trip Report

Mounties basic climb. We started cold. I underestimated the altitude effect on the temperature. Regardless, I was comfortable once we got going. We began around 730 am. Finished around 9pm. It was a long day. There were numerous points that were supposed to be exposed scrambles that we had to rope up for. Had we not roped up so often I think that it would have gone alot faster.
Berry took, what could have been a serious fall. It was eye-opening to see all of the saftey systems work, but it didn't change the fact that he fell about 7 feet before the line caught.
When all was said and done, I am glad that I got to climb with Sam but once again I didn't have much time on the summit.
