Ascent Trip Report

I hiked Mt Liberty w/ Brian ...We took the Whitehouse Trail to Liberty Springs .... about 1.5 miles into the hike....A few people passed us barebooting so we decided to take off our shoes & do the same....Trail held up good under our feet.....It seemed to take forever to get to the tent site but we made it ....At jct with ridge trail we put on our wind breakers & made out way to the top.....Just before getting to the summit the wind really hit us but at summit winds were not that bad.....we stayed for awhile & decided to not go for Flume & head back......At jct we saw alot of damage but other than that trail was in good shape...On way down we started to post hole a few times so we put our shoes back on & finished our hike...A great day & hike
