Ascent Trip ReportThe first hill of the year after F & M decimated walking in the south. This hill was done via the RHB e-group and organized by Jon Metcalf. A boat was chartered from Girvan at 10:00 am. It took us to Ailsa about 1 hr 20 mins before landing we were taken round the island in the presence of the warden who had made a trip to the mainland and was now returning. The route to the summit was via the castle and then further south before heading back north over a small lochan to reach the top. Trip included Ann Bowker who took digital images, probably the only Marilyn I will do before Ann & Roland (By 5 mins).
