Ascent Trip ReportI followed Barney Metz's high point instructions perfectly to the closed jeep road trailhead. An easy hike up the old jeep road went straight up to the top of the hill. The road was grown in considerably and almost gone. There has been a forest fire in the area in the past few years, not sure when. Lots of bear sign in the area. Saw one deer at the top. Not many views from the top, but some nice views to the south from right near the trailhead.
The trailhead was 143 miles from Hayden, ID.
