Ascent Trip Report

The highest point of PEI is still unknown but is certainly located near Jack Bennett's high point located north of Springton. My wife and I got to the previous point as per Not Won In A Day. I decided to continue my search for the high poin and the following coordinates will provide others with the best known high point on PEI thus far: N46 19 33.9 W63 24 53.6. Note that this new found point is approximately 10 metres taller than previously thought. Elevation was based on GPS with a +/- 2.2 metre (+/- 7) feet margin of error. Until the PEI government decides to put a landmark, claiming PEI's high point remains relative.
