Ascent Trip ReportGMS climb: David Olson and Jim Schroeder lead 9 other climbers up to the top. Met at Siyeh bend, hiked trail to Siyeh pass/Piegan Pass Junction. Continued a few hundred yards toward Siyeh pass, then turned left off the trail, made our way through some brush and then up the prominent gully to the base of the band of cliffs that runs through the middle of the mountain. After about 15-20 ft of class 4 we headed to the top. Jim and Laurel took an early lead, but Brock kicked it into high gear and made it to the top first. Clouds obscured views from the top but we got some glimpses of the neighboring peaks during the descent. Jim offered a belay on the decent of the class 4 section. What a great way to start on the park's ten thousand footers!
