Ascent Trip Report

Ryan and I parked at the Ravine Lodge ad hiked up the Gorge Brook trail, following Ashley and her friends who started a little earlier. The snow monorail was still in tact for a significant stretch higher up on the trail. We caught up to them near the summit and finished as a group. a little windy, but not too cold. the Views were great, all the way to Washington, Monadnock, and Mansfield. We hiked over to South Summit on the way down the Carraige road. Lots of snow on the Carraige road too. sometimes two feet deep. We missed the Snapper trail, and ended up on the Hurricane trail at the bottom. Definitely going to come back to the Carraige road in winter for some sledding!

This is one of my favorite mountains with one of the best views around.
