Ascent Trip Report

Started too late to realistically get this before dark, at 11 AM. Baldface Circle parking - slippery brook route. We turned around a 3 with about a mile to go but it would have been 2 hours or more based on the terrain with sunset at 430. The upper terrain would have been way too steep for a safe bushwhack descent in the dark. GPS for bushwhack section only. There were two awesome open spots, I called them meadows but there's no way to know what was under the snow. In between these open areas was a spectacular birch glade! Along the BW route there also was a stream that I broke thru despite the snow cover and cold temps. Better luck next time, however I am still eyeing up an attempt from the west to avoid the looong slow drive to access 113.
