Ascent Trip ReportI decided to undertake the 14 mile RT (Starting from the Woodland CG off of NY-28) hike on Wittenburg, Cornell, and Slide on a very hot, humid, and buggy (Is "buggy" an adjective???) day. The trail is easy until Wittenburg and then encounters quite a few steep ledges between the first two peaks, particularly right before Cornell's summit.
The RT resulted in a 7 hour hike and 4000'+ of gain.
